PERFECT PESTO RECIPE
I N G R E D I E N T S
- 1 bunch fresh Basil
- 1/4 cup Pine Nuts
- 1/4 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- 1 clove Garlic chopped
- 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
In food processor (with S-blade) place Basil, Pine Nuts, Parmigiano and Garlic clove – Pulse until Basil and Nuts are finely chopped. Stream in Olive Oil.
Note: No need to add extra salt, the cheese adds plenty salty flavor
Uses: Gently toss with steamed veggies; a spoonful as topping on soups or noodles, spread on wraps and rolls, or thinned with water for salad dressing.
