Cleansing & Revitalizing Spring Tea, Servings 4
I N G R E D I E N T S :
- 2-4 tablespoons each fresh Turmeric and Ginger Root, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh Rosemary
- 2 tablespoons Lemongrass
- 1 tablespoon Orange Peel
- 1 teaspoon Licorice Root
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 quart filtered Water
Directions
- Place water and herbs in a medium-sized heavy bottom pot. Bring to boil – Simmer for 10 min. Turn heat off. Let the herbal tea rest for 30 min or more. Strain. Enjoy as is, or with a squeeze of lemon and small amount local honey.
Keep in mind, this is a Spring tea – where focus is on Pungent, Bitter and Astringent tastes, the Licorice Root already adds a nice balanced sweet taste, so maybe explore without other added sweeteners.
