Berries & Greens Smoothie

Swap your coffee with hydration. The astringent fruits and their fiber content will help scrub and move the bowels.

Berries & Greens Smoothie Recipe

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup mixed frozen berries (cherries, strawberries, blueberries)
  • ½ frozen banana (I use frozen green bananas rich in prebiotics)
  • 1 cup spinach or other greens
  • 1 serving protein powder (Primal Kitchen or Sunwarrior brands)
  • 1 tablespoon Green Drink powder
  • optional add ins: vanilla extract, cinnamon powder, fresh mint or parsley

Place all ingredients in high-powered blender like Vitamix, and blend until smooth.
