Fruit salads are not only delicious but also a powerhouse of nutrition, especially when packed with hydrating, vitamin-rich ingredients like pineapple, mango, apple, blueberry, and a touch of ginger and fresh pepper for warmth.
Pineapple contains bromelain, a powerful enzyme that aids digestion and reduces inflammation. Mango is rich in enzymes like amylase, which helps break down carbohydrates, making your meal easier to digest.
These fruits offer a wide variety of vitamins to support your health. Pineapple and mango are loaded with Vitamin C, which is crucial for boosting your immune system and promoting collagen production for healthy skin. Apples provide a good dose of Vitamin C as well, along with fiber to aid in digestion. Blueberries are renowned for their high antioxidant content, particularly Vitamin K and Vitamin C, which protect cells from damage and support bone health.
