Yoga Nidra - Yogic Sleep

Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditation technique that connects to the body’s innate healing wisdom. The technique I practice and share is unique and developed by Master Yogi Amrit Desai, called The Integrative Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra. Practicing this very restorative meditation form has for me been transformational, and I am amazed with its subtle yet powerful effects as they continue to unfold —

Moment to moment, I feel more rooted in the vast inner Stillness, and much less reactionary, and when I do react, I catch it much quicker. Old conditioned patterns or samskaras, that interfere with experiencing reality as it is, are revealed with clarity and are able to be let-go-of with much greater ease.

 

I often incorporate yoga nidra techniques into the therapeutic body session I offer, it helps the bodymind transition more easily from a busy day into a state of relaxing and be able to receive.
